About me

I registered on the second day of the Magical Quill challenge August 1 while at work, and got my welcome email on September 4.

I was rather pissed off because I got on the second day and they didn’t send my e-mail earlier. So I didn’t even want to bother beta-testing the site. But then. Well, it has 200k users now and it has glitches, what will happen when in October millions of people register?

So I signed in and started exploring. The artwork is amazing, all the extra information is interesting and some bits are just mind blowing.

I went through all the chapters of Book 1in less than 1 day. I took some money from Gringotts, bought my supplies at Diagon Alley and finally entered Ollivander’s. I’ve always wanted a wand. And now I can order a wand for me using the description of one that chose me. It’s Black walnut with Unicorn hair core, twelve and a quarter inches long, hard.

As of Sorting Ceremony, I never had any preferences about what House I’ll be placed in. As long as I’m not a Squib and go to Hogwarts.

I was very sincere in my Sorting Test, although Some questions were rather challenging. Like the last one - Left or right? I chose to go to the left (where nothing’s right) rather than to the right (where nothing’s left).

And so the Hat placed me in Ravenclaw. Only after getting sorted I realized that this is the perfect house for me. I couldn’t be more proud. I know I would have been proud to be a member of all the four houses. I don’t have any stereotypes about evil Slytherins, or brave Gryffindors, or good-for-nothing Hufflepuffs. I have respect for all the houses in Hogwarts.
